Benefits of Boron

I am often asked about the benefits of supplementing with boron.  I decided that it was time for a blog on this topic.    Boron is often associated with a laundry booster – Borax.

Believe it or not there are many who ingest Borax as a way to obtain boron.  But is it safe?  The box states that the contents are “99.5% Borax, also known as “sodium tetraborate” or “sodium tetraborate decahydrate”, and 0.5% “naturally occurring trace minerals”.   I’ll share a link to a toxicology site where there is some scientific research for you to review.  I’m not going to tell you what to do but I will tell you that I would not consume this product.  The main reason?  It’s not a nutritional supplement.  Nutritional supplements are maintained in tightly controlled environments free of pests, toxins and and other contaminants.  They are tested to be fit for human consumption.  Borax will not be.  It’s not controlled by any GMP or NSF standards, as good quality supplements are.  You just don’t know what you are are ingesting.  So what do you do?

Well, there is an option.  The same maker of LugoTabs which contains Lugol’s formula iodine in a tablet also makes BoroTabs which is boron.  Available in 30 mg / 90 tablet bottles or 75 mg / 60  or  75 mg / 120 tablet (**NEW**) bottles.  You can read the pdf document from Hakala Labs with their brief description and research resources.

So what other potential benefits does supplementing with boron have?

  1.  Bones – Boron is needed by the bones to assist in calcium absorption which will help them to avoid becoming porous and weak.  Boron can also help the body to use Vitamin D more efficiently which will also strengthen the bones.
  2. Muscles – Boron will assist in building proper muscle mass by promoting healthy testosterone levels.
  3. Hormone Balance – Boron can assist in helping the body to balance both estrogen and testosterone.  It may even increase fertility.  For some it may reduce PMS and menopausal symptoms.
  4. Magnesium Absorption – Boron has been shown to increase magnesium absorption in the body which would also be beneficial to the bones.  Magnesium is important for the iodine protocol as well as for moods, muscles and over 300 enzyme reactions in the body.
  5. Reduces Inflammation – Boron has been scientifically shown to reduce inflammation markers such as CRP.
  6. Brain Activation – Boron increases brain electrical activity.
  7. Prostate Health –  A boron deficiency has been shown to be correlated with an increased risk of prostate cancer.
  8. Fluoride – Boron may be effective in the elimination of fluoride form the bones and tissues of the body.
  9. Blood Sugar – Boron has shown promise in assisting the pancreas in regulating blood sugar and triglyceride levels.
  10. Arthritis – Since Boron can assist in getting calcium into the body it will help to maintain healthy cartilage levels which will be protective of the joints.

Boron is a seldom discussed, but important, nutrient in our body.  If you are struggling with any of the above issues a trial of this mineral may be in order.

Exploited Dead Doctors List

I cringe each time I see a Facebook post about another “Holistic Doctor” that has died.  Does anyone do any research anymore?   Go back to these stories and you will see that many of these doctors have valid reasons for their deaths.  Do you know what?  Doctors die and yes even holistic doctors die.  They are murdered by their psychotic patients and jealous spouses, they are overcome with financial hardship, or just at the wrong place at the wrong time.  Sometimes they just die and no one will ever know why but God.  Not everything is a conspiracy.  I bet if you went back in history you would find that there are no more doctors dying now than there were then.  It’s just now we are looking for it.

If you include both MDs and DOs, there are currently 904,556 active primary care and specialist physicians in the US. Of those, approximately 400 will commit suicide each year. In fact, physicians kill themselves at a rate 70% higher than non-physicians. This sadly means that eight doctors commit suicide every week.

In July we had Tami Boroch .  Here is her Autopsy which states she died from hanging / suicide.  Sad, but she was not a licensed doctor, but a practitioner.  Some are saying she opposed vaccines but I saw one blog post on this topic which, in my opinion, does not make her a “threat”.  Her specialty was candida and assisting others to overcome their health issues with Multiple Sclerosis.  She is reported to have cured her own disease.  Family and friends stated that there was no reason for her to be suicidal.  But to get real here, I will tell you that the holistic practitioners I know will discuss their struggles sometimes… with each other but will rarely, if ever, admit it to the general public.  Many just suffer in silence.

This is a small list of updates but I think it proves my point.  I’m sure the rest would as well if checked into.

Then there was Dr Theresa Sievers.  She was early in this “list”.  Here is her updated story of her death.  Sadly this was a case of a spouse who had her murdered.

Lisa Riley, MD was an emergency room physician in Georgia with no ties to the holistic medical community. Police say someone known to Dr. Riley brutally murdered her, allegedly her husband. Her husband, a former boxer, was previously charged with attempted murder of his former girlfriend by shooting her in the head.
Here is her update.

Dr Baron Holt DC – He struggled with back issues and other health conditions, though not thought to be life threatening. There was an autopsy, but no results can be found.  Athletes can be more susceptible to sudden heart events.   His information can be found here.

Dr Bruce Hedendal – was convicted of tax evasion and sentenced to 3 yrs in prison. He turned up “dead” in FL.   The story of his death is here.

Dr Mary Bovier – was a DO who practiced geriatrics. Nothing there to cause her to be a “threat” that a conspiracy would be tied to.  Her story is chronicled here.

Dr Jeffrey Whiteside – Suicide.  Sadly even doctors feel despair and will take their own life.  I’m wondering if he was suffering with a medical condition since they are declining from answering.  I’m sure this was done out of respect for those who remain here.  His story is here.

Dr Abdul- Karim DDS – He had a heart attack while exercising.  He was a marathon runner.  Marathon runners are at risk of a cardiac issue.   This is his obituary.

Dr. Ronald Oliver Schwartz – Gynecologist who was killed by someone who worked for him.  Details here.

Sadly another individual was added to this “doctor hit list” and upon examination I found that this individual was not a licensed physician.  She held a PhD in Holistic Nutrition from Clayton College (I know this because her name appeared in the Clayton Holistic Times magazine as getting a Masters in Holistic Nutrition in 2009) and was not known by anyone outside her community.  She was also a CHEK practitioner.  Here is her profile.  She was like many of us who are practitioners.  We teach on the benefits of nutrition, dangers of toxins and show others how to take control of their lives.  If this puts you in the line for being murdered then I guess I better watch my back as well, having a HUGE Facebook group of almost 24,500 members.  I teach the Iodine Protocol to group members.  It helped me to heal from thyroid cancer naturally after the conventional doctors almost killed me.

These deaths are sad and untimely.  Doctors like Dr Bradstreet and Dr Gonzales are suspect to me given their notoriety and the work they were doing.  There is reason to be concerned about them and the cause of their deaths.  But we will never know and I feel like the constant parade of unknown practitioners being added to this list of “dead doctors” is nothing more than a way to increase the traffic to the sites that promote them.  Please folks, these are real people with real family members who are hurting.

This all came to a head for me when a local 32 year old chiropractor was added to this list.  Her office is less than 5 miles from where I live and work.  She was just a chiropractor that had been in practice for 3 years.  Our local holistic family group had people who had seen her as a doctor and stated that she did not discuss vaccine issues nor any other holistic detail.  She just practiced chiropractic.  Why would she be on this mysterious list?  If she was a threat for this then the 1,400+ chiropractors here in Michigan better beware.

I felt I needed to speak my peace on this topic.  I hope that you will dig deeper the next time you see that Facebook post come across your feed.  Think about the family and most of all the truth.  Fake news is so prevalent  and why is that?   Because it makes money for those that promote it.  Think about it.
