In 2000 I was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer.  In the 6 years that followed I received 3 rounds of Radioactive Iodine (RAI) treatments.  In 2006 I found myself with a 3rd recurrence and the only thing my doctors were offering was more radiation in the form of external beam radiation.  I knew that more radiation was not the answer and I was dying.  I found a holistic doctor to help me heal naturally and by 2009 I was cancer free.  It was through this time in my fight to save my own life that I learned about the thyroid and returned to school to obtain my Naturopathic Doctorate so that I could help others on their quest to find true health.  My desire is that  the resources I provide on this site will help those who are desperately seeking to find answers that the medical community is not offering them.
